After 6 hours of travelling through the rolling Countryside, they arrived at the homestead, the sign said home of the Hamptons. They are greeted by his two older sons as well as Julian’s mother, Carolyn. She promptly greeted Sarah with a hug, “So you are to be my boy’s wife.” It was a statement not a question.

Sarah responded with a thin smile and a single nod of her head.

Carolyn ran her hands down Sara’s arms, “It is a sudden adjustment I know, but you’ll find he’s a good man and he’ll be good to you.”

Sarah and Janet were guided to where their rooms were going to be, for the time being they would share the room, until after Sarah and Julian are married.

“Get comfortable,” Carolyn said, “in half an hour there will be lunch, after which I will have Julian give you a tour of the property.”

The time went by and after dinner Julian took Sarah out to the horse stables. “Can you ride horses?” he asked.

She flared her nostrils slightly, “I grew up on a farm so yes.”

He smiled and patted her shoulder, “Well that’ll save me training time.”

Julian slapped the saddles on the horses and gave Sarah a boost onto her horse after he guided…
